Hydrexia LLC has announced a strategic partnership with GH2 Global to develop and deploy hydrogen technologies in South America. The collaboration aims to enhance Hydrexia’s global presence and address the growing demand for hydrogen solutions in the region.
Hydrexia and GH2 Global Join Forces
The partnership between Hydrexia and GH2 Global, a Brazilian hydrogen solution provider, will:
- Market Hydrexia’s transportation, storage, and refueling technologies throughout South America
- Cater to project needs in the Brazilian market and beyond
- Leverage the strengths of both companies
Andy Tran, CEO of Hydrexia US, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership. He stated that combining their technology with GH2 will significantly enhance hydrogen applications in Brazil.
Expanding Hydrexia’s Global Reach
Hydrexia aims to extend its global geographical coverage of business operations with this strategic move. The company has already seen success in markets such as Malaysia, India, and Australia.
Bias Augusto Dare, Managing Director of GH2, commended Hydrexia’s capabilities. He is confident that the partnership will yield positive results and enhance hydrogen market development in South America.
Brazil’s Commitment to Low-Carbon Hydrogen
In August 2024, Brazil’s President approved a law establishing a legal framework for low-carbon hydrogen. However, he vetoed some previously approved incentives, such as funding from national and international donations.
Despite this setback, the Hydrexia-GH2 Global partnership is expected to contribute significantly to the growth of the hydrogen market in South America.
