The U.S. Department of Energy’s Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Office, along with the Clean Energy Ministerial, has announced the winners of the H2 Twin Cities program at the Hydrogen Americas 2024 Summit & Exhibition in Washington, D.C. This program aims to speed up the global adoption of clean hydrogen technologies by connecting cities around the world to share ideas, learn from each other, and promote clean energy jobs and environmental justice.

About H2 Twin Cities

H2 Twin Cities is managed by the Clean Energy Ministerial Clean Hydrogen Initiative (CEM H2I). The program pairs cities at different stages of hydrogen implementation to help them learn from each other and build the relationships needed to develop global hydrogen infrastructure.

The Winning Partnerships

Here are the winners of the latest round of the H2 Twin Cities program:

1. h2 Regional Energy Hub | Houston, TX + Nuevo Leon, MX

  • Mentor City: Houston, Texas, USA
  • Mentee Region: Nuevo Leon, Mexico
