Collaboration Aims to Accelerate Eco-Friendly Solutions Globally
Hyundai Motor Company and the Skoda Group have signed an MoU to establish a hydrogen mobility ecosystem. The signing ceremony took place at the Korea-Czech Republic Business Summit in Prague on September 20. It was attended by Ken Ramírez, Executive Vice-President at Hyundai, and Petr Novotný, CEO of Skoda Group.
Key Areas of Collaboration
The MoU covers:
- Study on adoption of hydrogen fuel cell systems and technologies
- Study on adoption of energy-efficient solutions for mobility projects and products
- Exploring hydrogen ecosystem and value chain opportunities beyond mobility

As part of the MOU, the parties will explore the possibility of Hyundai sharing its fuel cell system and technology. This will contribute to accelerating eco-friendly mobility across global markets where Skoda Group operates, including the Czech Republic.
Exploring Fuel Cell Applications Beyond Mobility
Hyundai Motor Company and the Skoda Group will also conduct feasibility studies for fuel cell system applications. These studies will focus on diverse utilization beyond mobility. This collaboration marks a significant step towards advancing hydrogen technology and promoting a cleaner, more sustainable future.
