Rely has introduced Clear100+, a product designed for large-scale green hydrogen production.

Developed by the joint venture between Technip Energies and John Cockerill (JC), this product aims to reduce both CAPEX and OPEX, lowering the levelized cost of hydrogen (LCOH).

Clear100+ includes a 100MW green hydrogen plant that integrates John Cockerill Hydrogen’s pressurized alkaline electrolyzer stacks with pre-assembled process treatment units for efficient installation.

Clear100+ offers:

  • Hydrogen flow: 1,800kg/hr
  • Hydrogen purity: 99.97% after purification
  • Start-up time: 15 minutes
  • Plant efficiency: 51.7kWhr/kg at peak load
  • Plant availability: 96%
  • Design life: 25 years
  • Pre-FID lead time: within five months
  • EPC lead time: 29 to 31 months

Damien Eyriès, CEO of Rely, stated, “With this 100MW green hydrogen product, we provide the market with a solution that is quick to implement, reliable, safe, and configurable. This will help make green hydrogen more affordable.”

He added that Rely’s position is strengthened by combining Technip and JC’s expertise in engineering and alkaline technologies. This integration ensures high performance and access to innovative technologies for customers.

Raphael Tilot, CEO of John Cockerill Hydrogen, mentioned that the collaboration with Rely will continue, particularly in electrolyzer agreements to avoid market bottlenecks and in joint innovations.

Rely’s Clear100+ represents a significant development in the green hydrogen sector, offering a scalable and efficient solution for sustainable energy production.
